Policies

At Southern Bites Bakery, we specialize in mini cakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and other small-batch desserts. Custom orders are based on quantity, flavor selections, and simple color or theme coordination using our existing menu. Contact us for details. We do not offer wedding cakes, tiered cakes, fondant cakes, or elaborate custom cake decorating.

Payment is required to confirm all orders. For larger orders, we will requirea deposit to reserve your date. Any remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before pickup.

Changes may be accommodated up to 14 days before pickup, depending on ingredient availability and production status. Once production has begun, cancellations and significant changes cannot be guaranteed.

Once your order has been picked up, it becomes the customer's responsibility. Southern Bites Bakery is not responsible for damage that occurs after pickup, including damage caused during transportation, handling, weather exposure, or improper storage.

Please arrive during your scheduled pickup window. Orders not picked up within 48 hours without prior communication may be considered abandoned.

Southern Bites Bakery reserves the right to photograph all orders and use those images for marketing purposes, including social media, website galleries, advertising, and promotional materials. Customer names and personal information will never be shared without permission.

Products are prepared in a home kitchen that may process common allergens including wheat, eggs, milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and other allergens. While every effort is made to prevent cross-contact, Southern Bites Bakery cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Products are prepared in a home kitchen operating under Florida's Cottage Food Law.

Because our desserts are made fresh and are perishable, all sales are final. If there is a problem with your order due to an error on our part, please contact us within 24 hours and include photos so we can review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.

Orders are not refundable if a customer cancels due to weather, illness, venue changes, or event cancellations after production has begun. If severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent pickup, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate a new pickup date when possible.

Every dessert is handmade. Colors, toppings, and decorations may vary slightly from photos. These small variations are a normal part of handcrafted baked goods.
